Picosure Laser Tattoo Removal in Toronto

Bellair Laser Clinic uses Medlite and Picosure Laser for tattoo removal however, Picosure Laser has quickly become the GOLD STANDARD in tattoo removal. Picosure is the only advanced tattoo removal technology with PressureWave technology. It works with your own body to help breakdown and rid the treatment area of pigmented, unwanted, ink. Picosure safely targets the ink leaving the surround skin and tissue unharmed and undamaged, triggering faster healing. Overall you can expect better results with half the number of treatments you would require with a more traditional tattoo removal laser.

How Does Picosure Work?

Picosure tattoo removal works by delivering ultra-short pulses of specialized energy to the targeted ink particles. These ultra-short pulses are known as PressureWave technology. They cause pressure changes that break the ink into tiny particles, which are then absorbed into your lymphatic system and expelled naturally by your own body’s immune system.

Picosure is different than most other traditional laser methods of tattoo removal in that instead of using just heat to break down the ink particles it uses a combination of heat and rapid pressure changes. Thus, being more effective at removing the toughest of inks. Picosure can also be used safely on all skin types and can be used to treat a range of tattoo colors. Patients often report shorter recovery periods between sessions as well as the need for fewer sessions to rid yourself of unwanted tattoo ink.
