About BLU-U Photodynamic Therapy
BLU-U® Photodynamic Therapy uses a special blue light to kill acne-causing bacteria. It is non-invasive, safe, and only requires a few minutes of your time each week. The benefits are noticeable and last for up to five weeks. You can use this treatment as a supplement to your existing skincare regimen.
BLU-U with Levulan
BLU-U® with Levulan uses a blue light to target precancerous growths on the skin. It works by penetrating the epidermis, the top two millimeters of the skin. Common skin lesions can grow in this layer, and the blue light exposes the affected cells to a biochemical reaction. The result is an increased turnover of skin cells and the production of unblemished collagen.
